Actress Miranda Otto has got something strikingly different about her, which makes her stand-out from the ordinary.

The journey to stardom of this unusual actress has been just as unique as she herself is, as a person.

She started off as a regular kid with big dreams, and was academically gifted as a young student. Her early passion as an actress, arose from watching her father, Barry Otto, who was a stage actor, perform at the ‘Nimrod Theatre’ on weekends.

The turning point in her life came, when she had to choose between pursuing a career in acting and accepting the call to medical school, that she had been offered. She took a major step, when she decided to choose acting over a career in the medical profession.

However, she says that when she first stepped into the world of acting, her passion was to pursue being a theater artist. She reveals that she was never enthralled by the idea of being a television or film actress.

But then, that was where the money, fame and a steady career were, and so she eventually had to drop her love for theatre and choose television and films instead.

She is often described as one of the most reliable actresses, and is said to be much more resilient and determined than her fragile appearance suggests.

Even though Miranda might be at a happy place in her career today, she admits that she has had to make some huge sacrifices, as far as her family is concerned.

Her husband, Peter O’Brien, and their school-going daughter, Darcey, definitely miss out on having mommy at home.

Miranda gushes about what a hands-on father Peter is, saying that they never keep nannies to take care of their daughter, but instead divide their responsibilities among themselves.

Their daughter, Darcey, apparently loves her school in Sydney, which means that for Miranda to work in L.A., she has had to split time and space between her work and her family.

I just can’t help praising former Cashmere Mafia actress, Miranda Otto, whenever I find the chance to do so!

Not just that, I take her to be one of the truly enchanting actresses in tinsel town.

But I do believe that she is one of her kind, when it comes to playing with the imagination of the audiences, portraying a character either for the big screen or the small.

After making a mark with her soulful performance in Lord of the Rings, the belle is all gung-ho about returning to the big screen and setting it ablaze, once again.

And to inform you, I must tell you that the movie that she has landed a role in, is no ordinary one

It’s a modern day take on Dr. Frankenstein creature!

Titled ‘I, Frankenstein’, this edge-of-the seat cult movie, will have another famous starlet accompanying Miranda.

She is none other than the vivacious Yvonne Strahovski, whom you might recognize from Chuck.

While Yvonne will be seen playing the leading lady in the film, Miranda will have a tricky character to play.

You read that right - ‘a tricky character’!

The lovely Miranda will play the queen of gargoyles!

    Sounds wicked, doesn’t it?

But sources close to the development of the movie revealed that her character would assist Frankenstein.

Watch Cashmere Mafia online, in case you wish to catch a glimpse of the screen sizzler, before she features as one of the demons in the movie.

As I said, Miranda has enticing looks and incredible skills - and the soaring demand for the download of her images on the internet, could be taken as a testament to the statement I just made.

It’s not yet revealed how exactly the plot based on Kevin Grevioux’s comic will accommodate two powerful female characters.

But I would like to bet my money on Miranda.

It’s not because she is my favorite, rather because she seems all charged up to take the glory of Lord of the Rings to an all new height.

Many things at stake, Miranda - don’t let your fans down!

They love you way too much for that!

Slashing bodies and ripping guts out is what Lucy Liu has expertise in. Don’t worry, it’s not in real life, but in reel life. Did you know that she has an artistic bend of mind (not in dismembering bodies, of course)?

Lucy Liu is an artist, but her artistry is not restricted only to a canvas or paintbrush, as she collects rubbish and turns it into art pieces.

She used to showcase her work in New York back in 1993, under the name of Yu Ling.
Lucy, why didn’t you reveal your name back then?

She remarked during an interview to a popular magazine that she thought people won’t accept her as an artist, because she is known for her action roles and the fact that she is an artist too, will not go down many throats.

She felt that it is very hard to make people realize what you really are in real life!

Though acting is her passion, but she soon that somewhere within her, an artist is shouting to come out, shouting from freedom and wanting to see and meet the world.

Lucy has set the artist free, and she is going to exhibit her work as Lucy Liu in October at Salon Vert.

As an artist, she feels everything has its own life and wants to say something, it can be anything.Recently, she found a small computer on the pavement and took it home. Girl! You got the heart and soul of an artist, who can create a masterpiece out of ordinary things.

I dig her character of Mia Mason, who works as a publisher at Barnstead Media Group in Cashmere Mafia episodes.

Well Lucy, you gave me one more reason to buy a poster of yours and stick it on my wall.

It takes years for any newcomer in industry to reach the top. And it certainly needs tremendous amount of grit, panache, as well as commitment to hold on to one’s fan following for a long period of time.

But former Cashmere Mafia actor, Lucy Liu is perhaps one step ahead of everybody, as she has made a Hollywood celebrity follow her style statement.

I know you guys are yearning to know the name of celebrity, who dons the mask of a copycat, more so in knowing what she did for being so.

Well, let’s play a ‘you-guess-you-win’ game. And to begin with, let me put the first hint by saying that she is the wife of the guy, who took to some ‘Impossible’ missions.

Finding it difficult to make out the screen sizzler?

Let me add one more hint by saying that she is the mother to child sensation Suri.

There you are, hitting it right! The star, who seems to be following Lucy, is none other than Katie Holmes.
And what made her a copycat is the Azzedine Alaia dress that she sported during a recently held red carpet event.

Believe it or not, a similar kind of frock-styled, one-piece was worn by Lucy some months ago.

And it seems like Tom Cruise’s lady-love liked the design, and decided to flaunt it.

I am glad that one of my favorite actors, who compels many a drama lovers to watch Cashmere Mafia online, has been able to make a deep impression on Katie’s mind.

A download of her show is no big deal.

And if you wish to compare them both, you can easily get images of both the pretty ladies. And the one that is featured here would make you think about the mentor-apprentice aura, almost invariably.

Lucy Liu, better known as the brown-skinned Charlie’s Angel and for her role in Cashmere Mafia, has proven that Asian actresses can be mainstream, and do not just have to make-do with guest appearances and side roles. But it hasn’t been an easy journey for this Chinese woman, who had to follow a much tougher path to stardom than her American counterparts.

Lucy’s greatest obstacle, when she decided that she wished to become an actress, was the resistance from her parents that came her way. Being first-generation Americans, they had big dreams for their daughter, and wished for her to have everything they could never have.

She recalls the objections that came her way when she announced that she wished to be an actress. Her parents firmly turned down her wish, and said that she must pursue her education. Not wishing to go against their wishes, the actress conceded to their demands and went to pursue a degree in Asian culture from the University of Michigan.

The actress goes on to talk about how her degree helped her to embrace her roots. Being born in a Chinese family, she was always confused about whether she was an Asian or an American, and studying Asian culture helped her to understand her position better.

She reveals that she learnt how to love herself just the way she was, and never came under the pressure to dye her hair blonde or put blue contact lenses, just to ‘fit in’. No wonder she went on to become one of the most popular Asian-American actresses ever!

Lucy is still far from having attained all her dreams. She always wished to try her hand at singing, which she did in her recent performance with the UK band, ‘The Bullitts’. You can obtain Cashmere Mafia download to watch more of this sensational star!

    OMG!

What has happened to the sexual preferences of the contemporary individuals?

It seems that nothing is disgraceful for them anymore. They do whatever their heart says, but I think they should give a second thought, before going for such raunchy acts.

I guess before doing anything, they forget about the high-tech paparazzi and netizens, who never hesitate to share any eye-opening facts with the common man.

    Hang on friends!

Before you start assuming anything bad about an innocent actor like Miranda Otto, I want to make you aware that all the above the discussion was nothing, but my own false assumptions.

Sorry friends, I shared whatever came to my mind, first!

    My bad!

Lemme tell you what actually happened.

A few days ago, Miranda went to attend the launch of Three Sisters at a theatre in Adelaide, the beautiful wine city of Australia, which is famous for its art and performances.

Her presence was really important, because Peter O’Brien was there to perform in the play. So, to support and appreciate her spouse, she went there, with her six-year old daughter.

I think the actor took her daughter, so that she could take inspiration from her father’s act. You may not know, but the actor belongs to a renowned thespian family, where her grandparents, Barry and Gracie Otto were gifted play performers.

And Miranda too is good at carrying forward her ancestral tradition.

She is also famous for playing her part in several theatre performances. In fact, she grabbed the attention of one of the casting directors, through her theatrical performances only.

Above all this, we simply cannot forget her appearances, which she made in the Cashmere Mafia episodes.

As Juliet Draper, she stole a million hearts and I don’t think that anyone can play the chief operations officer’s role better than her!

    Am I right, friends?

Her TV series, ‘Lock and Key’, is complete and will hit the small screen real soon. So, cross your fingers and fasten your seatbelts to catch this diva!

Before signing off, I want to wish good luck to this young talented lady, for her future ventures!

The Cashmere Mafia star felt a bit sad while donating her Yeojin Bae frock, but the cause of donation would forever make her feel happy and contended.

The Australian beauty recently donated her Collette Dinnigan dress and her Tan & Brown clutch at the Westfield Bondi Junction.

The Give Ability shop would put the dresses and other items for online auction and the proceeds from the auction will be used for children affected by cerebral palsy. It’s a noble cause and one that would help recover many children’s lives.

The beauty was keen to put her dress for auction, but could not hide her attachment with the dress. She said she has always liked wearing the dress and the flattering tailoring always suited her.

It’s so beautiful that anyone wearing it would not look any less than a goddess. (And it’s clearly not an overstatement!) Miranda wore the dress on several occasions and had stolen the evenings – er, mornings, too!

With the dress all set to rest inside someone else’s wardrobe, Miranda feels for it. She only hopes for the dress to remain in good health and that the new owner takes as much care of it as she would of her own dresses.

But the entire mushiness shifts aside when the children affected with cerebral palsy enter the discussion. The charity event helped raise $50,000 in a matter of five days.

In no time, the charity store would move to Melbourne where it would hope to replicate the success achieved at the Bondi store. Would Miranda throw another look at her wardrobe and say, ‘Hmm, this one looks pretty good, but I don’t wear it that much?’

Well, I won’t be surprised if she comes up with few more dresses, and I am discussing some more of her dressed-up evenings and her love and care for children with disabilities. You can watch Cashmere Mafia online and see if she ever wore that frock on the show.

Umm, you can also look to download the show, for there are better things on the show, too!

Well that’s what any star associated with the hit Kung Fu Panda franchise must be thinking!

After the grand success of the first animated film, Kung Fu Panda 2 stormed the theater with a massive opening, recently.

So it’s pretty obvious that you get to hear something from all the stars of the movie, and Lucy Liu is not someone who likes to come out last.

Recently during a tête-à-tête, the actress revealed that she found working in animation movies more comfortable and easier.

Well that’s understandable Lucy, because a voice-over actor can work, without actually making it to the sets!
However, she didn’t forget to tag the job challenging.

And I guess she was right, because it is solely on the baritone and the improvisation of the voice-over artist that a cartoon character comes alive.

According to Lucy, working for anime movies takes away the pressure of hectic schedules. One can easily complete the assigned task as per the deadlines.

When asked about the grand success of Kung Fu Panda 2, the actress quipped that she was always confident about it. She even went on to say that she watched the first film and not for a single moment, did she find it tedious.

As we all know she lends her voice to the acrobatic Viper in both the animation movies, during the conversation, she admitted to have felt the connection with the character.

I guess that’s very important, because if a voice-artist can’t feel a character, it becomes impossible to spell out the right dialogues, in the right fashion.

And Lucy has done that wonderfully!

Showering words of praise on the latest sequel, the former Cashmere Mafia episodes actress said it was a kind of strengthening the bond of family and friendship (among the characters).

But don’t you think Lucy’s gradual love towards Kung Fu Panda, and indirectly voice-over acting, is going to hamper her career in mainstream movies?

I guess much of that will depend on individual decision.

Let’s wait to find out if she comes out with a clarification on that.
